Episode #16

Shirin is a life coach, public speaker, and writer who specializes in mindfulness and mindset
work. She has been a featured wellness expert on the Today Show and Cosmopolitan

We go deep in this episode (as we do in most episodes). We unpack:
â—Ź The value of coaching is (why bother getting a coach?)
● The tension between making it more accessible for people & still requiring they get “big
skin” in the coaching game
â—Ź What it means to live whole-heartedly
● Letting go of the “if only’s”
â—Ź The harm of white wellness bubbles & how to get better as white people
â—Ź What courage looks like to each of us in OUR lives
● The myths around the fulfillment of “goals” making us happy (and this is coming from a
opera singer who performed in Carmen at the Met)
